Accounts

All resources in StatusCloud belong to an Account. This functions as an overarching group for all of your monitors, status pages, incidents, projects, and more.

Accounts are not the same as users. A user is an individual and could belong to multiple accounts, and accounts can contain multiple users.

In often makes sense to think about an account as an organisation.

Billing is determined at an account level, with a single payment taken monthly depending on which plan the account belongs to.

Self-service tiers

Users can create new accounts in the Free, Pro, and Business tiers at any time, with the sole restriction that a user can only belong to one Free account at a time.

Existing accounts can be moved between these tiers. If upgrading, the new plan will start as soon as payment is received. If downgrading, the existing plan will continue until the end of the current billing period.

Enterprise

Those wishing to create an Enterprise account, or upgrade an existing account to this plan, should contact our sales team to discuss options.

We offer a wide array of Enterprise-exclusive features, including: SSO support, dedicated monitoring infrastructure, a negotiable SLA, access to raw logs, volume discounts, support contracts, training or on-boarding sessions, and more.

Enterprise plans are billed separately, and users with these accounts cannot modify billing settings in the console (as is possible with other tiers).

Upgrading & Downgrading

Only administrators can upgrade or downgrade an account.

To switch to a new plan, head to the Billing page of the account you wish to change.
